Sunny skies with temps in the 50s today

This morning will feel cold, but it won’t last long as temperatures climb into the 50s by the afternoon with mostly clear skies. Wednesday will get even better, with low temperatures in the 40s and highs in the lower 60s, making it one of the nicest days in a long time. The warm up trend will continue into Thursday with highs in the upper 60s before rain chances return Thursday night. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 64. East southeast wind 5 to 11 mph.

Thursday Night: A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
