Richard J. “Dick” DeVader, 82, of Holton, went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2019 in Topeka.
He was born November 11, 1936 at Delia, the son of Henry and Ines Hladky DeVader.
Dick was a farmer and a stockman and had owned and operated Dick’s Service in Holton from 1977 to 1993.
He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Holton.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Katherine Rose DeVader, who died in infancy, and a brother, Raymon DeVader.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Reino (Tim), Holton, Barbara Kathrens (Ed), Circleville, and Thelma Jean Wilson (Jeff), Mayetta; three brothers, Francis DeVader and Roger DeVader (Sarah), all of Holton, and Robert DeVader (Doris), Rancho Cordova, CA; three sisters, Ramona Robinson (Dean) and Renetta Vaught, all of Mayetta, and Rosealee Boling (Delbert), Hoyt and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. No services are scheduled. Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton is assisting the family.
