AGP Helping Philippines Recovery

Omaha, NE--Ag Processing Inc (AGP) announced last week that the Company is aiding in the relief effort for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, a super‐storm affecting a large portion of the  Philippines.

The relief will take the form of a $25,000 contribution to the Uygongco Foundation, a  service organization affiliated with the La Filipina Uygongco Corporation (La Filipina).

“We are saddened by the tragic loss of life and devastation to many communities in the Philippines,”  said AGP Chief Executive Officer Keith Spackler. “The Philippines has been the largest international trade market in Asia for AGP for over a decade. La Filipina has been an excellent trade partner in the Philippines and AGP is pleased to support their efforts to provide relief to the people and places that need it the most.”

AGP is a major supplier of soybean meal and other products to the Philippines, utilizing numerous ports  across the large island country.
