July 9, 2013

(SEDALIA, Mo.) – The Missouri State Fair will offer a full schedule of activities for fairgoers to enjoy this year, which includes a mix of free musical entertainment in the Budweiser Tent, scheduled most days at 2 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. The free music entertainment kicks off opening day with Curtis Grimes from season one of the NBC television hit, “The Voice.” The variety and quality of the professional line-up help make the State Fair an especially economical choice as a summer destination.

“Providing free, live music for fairgoers is part of the State Fair’s commitment to affordable fun and this year’s Budweiser Stage line-up offers impressive options,” Missouri State Fair Director Mark Wolfe said. “The schedule includes returning favorites such as the Nace Brothers band and the Missouri State Fair Idol Contest, along with some exciting up and coming artists, new to the Budweiser Stage.”
