St Joe Chamber Supports Ag Expo Center

(St. Joseph, MO) -- The St. Joseph Metro Chamber Board of Directors recently took action to officially endorse the Agri-Business Expo Center project.

The mission of the center, as stated on its website, is to create a multi-purpose set of venues focused on agriculture and education that will act as a catalyst for growth in the local and regional economies, helping to revitalize the local area and add to the prosperity of the broader region. The campus is located east of St. Joseph on U.S. Highway 36. The 150-acre site will feature state-of-the-art technology for agriculture.

The Board of Directors believe that, as proposed, the project will bring new jobs and investment to the area and act as a catalyst in growing the agricultural business sector in St. Joseph.

The Chamber is committed to working with the Board of Directors and staff of the Agri-Business Expo Center to see the project become a reality.

"The Chamber looks forward to working with the Board and staff of the Agri-Business Expo Center in the future," said R. Patt Lilly, President and CEO of the St. Joseph Metro Chamber.
