Dave Riggert was able to talk to Missouri Western men’s basketball incoming freshman Dalton Marsh. The Lafayette, Tennessee native talks about why he chose MWSU and kept his commitment after the coaching chance, his relationship with Coach Martin, his high school career and much more.

Marsh played at Red Boiling Springs High School and is the school all-time leading scorer and rebounder as he had over 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in his career. The 6-foot-8 forward was a finalist for Class A Mr. Basketball in the state of Tennessee this past season. As a senior, he averaged 23.5 points, 11.3 rebounds and 4.3 blocks per game.

Marsh will join a Missouri Western team coming off its best season in 10 years as the Griffons went 18-14 and 13-6 in the MIAA.
