2 NW Missouri teens hospitalized after pickup accident

GENTRY COUNTY— Two people were injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Saturday in Gentry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Dylon J. Pappert, 19, Guilford,  was westbound on Route M five miles northeast of King City.

The pickup traveled off the north side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle began to skid, traveled off the south side of the road, struck an embankment, returned to the road and then off the north side of the road again.

Grand River ambulance transported two passenger Katelyn  P. Pappert, 17, Guilford and Tylee D. Copple, 18, Cameron, to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. Dylon Pappert was not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
