A local group, We the People-3 Schools Inc., has voluntarily dropped its lawsuit against the St. Joseph School District’s decision to realign the district. The lawsuit was filed in April and alleged that the district’s adoption of Plan 4BR was unconstitutional and involved Sunshine Law violations. The case has been dropped without prejudice, allowing the group to refile claims at a later date. The lawsuit was filed in Buchanan County Circuit Court and has now been closed.
