With the closure of the Buchanan County Courthouse tomorrow (Fri.), some operations from the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office will also be unavailable.
The Buchanan County Courthouse will close tomorrow (Fri.) at 1pm as the county installs a new natural gas backup power generartor. It will also be closed on Monday as the generator is tested.
With the closure, the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Adminstrative Offices will be closed as well.
The closure will not affect any Sheriff’s Office patrols or investigations. It will also not cause any disruption to emergency 911 calls or operations at the jail. However, there will be no in person jail visits during the closure.
All operations at the Buchanan County Courthouse, and the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office, will resume on Tuesday.
