ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities in northeast Kansas are investigating a suspect for an alleged violent crime.
Just before 10p.m. Monday, police booked 29-year-old Stephen J. Cushing, Jr., of Raytown, Missouri into the Atchison County Jail, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Cushing is being held after an arrest in the 1400 block South U.S. 73 Highway on requested charges of battery and interference with law enforcement.
