Woman injured after SUV became airborne in NW Mo. crash

HARRISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Monday in Harrison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Toyota Highlander driven by Cindy Thao, 54, Jay, Oklahoma, was southbound on Interstate 35 in Harrison County.

The SUV traveled off the east side of the road into the median. The vehicle struck the median crossover, became airborne and came to rest in the median.

NTA ambulance transported Thao to Harrison County Community Hospital. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
