Twila E. Miller, 80, Savannah, MO, passed on May 21st, 2024, comfortably in her home amongst family. Early in life Twila resided and went to school in King City, MO. Twila married Larry Miller on January 12th, 1976. After getting her degree from Platte College of Commerce, Twila and Larry took on many business ventures together. They owned several businesses in Savannah over the years including rental properties, convenience stores and being owner and editor of the Savannah Reporter. As a member of the Savannah Chamber of Commerce, Twila was also responsible for starting the Candle Light Walk and Christmas for the Needy. Twila loved being on the go. She was always doing something or going somewhere. She certainly wasn’t going to “just sit around here and do nothing”.

Twila was an avid Chiefs and Royals fan and former Chiefs season ticket holder. She was on cloud nine the last few years during all of their Super Bowl wins. Twila was a true force in her family. There was nothing more important to her than being with them. If she could have spent every second of every day with them, she would have. She was so important to so many people and she will be greatly missed by us all.

Twila is survived by a loving family including husband Larry K. Miller, of Savannah, MO, Brother Randall (Mary) Hill of King City, MO. Brother-in-law Glen (Judy) Miller of Savannah. Sister-in-law Carol Messerly of Oklahoma. Mother-in-law Lola Miller of Savannah, MO, Sons Jon (Mia) Morgan of Savannah, MO and Eric (Jill) Miller of Springdale, AR. Grandchildren Treston (Sidney) Morgan, Cade Miller, Colton Miller, and Jensen Miller. Great grandchildren Mackenzie Morgan, Addison Morgan and Madilyn Myers.

Twila was preceded in death by her parents BI and Dorothy Hill of Empire Prairie, MO, brother Wendell Hill of Humansville, MO and grandson Sean Ryan Morgan of Savannah, MO.

The family will be forgoing funeral services and having a small private gathering to celebrate the life of Twila. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital a cause Twila donated to and believed in. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
