Get out on the golf course next week and help support the Albrecht Kemper Museum of Art.

Museum Director Eric Fusuon says Monday will be the first ever Albrecht Kemper Museum of Art Golf Tournament

“We’ll have a $10,000 hole in one available, it’s $90 per player, $360 per team,” Fuson tells KFEQmmunity host Brent Martin. “We’re really looking forward to getting out there and getting outdoors a bit, we’re all museum people we don’t get outdoors very often.”

Fuson says the idea came from a board member who had played in several golf tournaments and wanted to help put one on for the museum.

“That’s something else I don’t think people realize is the volunteers, the network that we have of people that step up and say you know what I’m not really into art that much maybe but I know how to do this or that, or can I help you with this because i like what you’re doing,” Fuson explains. “One of our board members just said Hey I’d like to help with that and sure enough he’s done a lot of the work.”

There are limited spaces available to golf. There are also still several sponsorship opportunities available.
