ANDREW COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Monday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Kawasaki KVF 400 driven by a 78-year-old St. Joseph man was westbound at 11,898 County Road 363. The driver lost control of the vehicle. It traveled off the south side of the road, struck a tree and overturned onto its top.
Andrew County EMS transported the driver and a 6-year-old male passenger to Mosaic for treatment of serious injuries. They were not wearing helmets, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer reports names of accident victims.
