DEKALB COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 2a.m. Sunday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Chevy Malibu driven by a Carson B. Francis, 26, Stewartsville was eastbound on MO P at SW Thorton Road two miles west of Clarksdale.
The driver lost control of the car. It traveled off the north side of the road, through a fence and struck a tree. The Patrol arrested him for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. He was properly restrained at the time of the crash. DeKalb County EMS transported Francis to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of serious injuries.
