DAVIESS COUNTY —A juvenile was injured in an accident just before 7p.m. Wednesday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Jeep Wrangler driven by an 18-year-old Gallatin woman was eastbound on MO 6 at 330th two miles east of Jamesport. The Jeep struck a horse ridden by a 5-year-old Jamesport boy. The boy was ejected from the horse.
Life Flight airlifted the boy to Children’s Mercy. The teen driver was not injured and properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims. The Patrol did not report on the condition of the horse.
