ATCHISON COUNTY —One person avoided serious injury during an accident just after 3p.m. Saturday in Atchison.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, a 2017 Harley Davidson driven by by Christopher McDaniel, 38, Atchison, was westbound on Unity Street. When approaching 5th Street, McDaniel reacted to a vehicle that was at the stop sign on 5th Street causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The motorcycle fell over onto its side.
EMS examined McDaniel at the scene. He was not transported.
