Benton High School has found the next man to lead their football program, hiring longtime coach Mark Cole as their head coach athletic director Brett Goodwin announced today.
Cole coached for 27 years,including 20 years as a head coach, with stops in Gallatin, Savannah, Maysville, and Milan. He has won six district championships, six conference titles, made 10 playoff appearances and three semifinal appearances.
Cole was hired after Corey Bertini announced he would be stepping down earlier this month to take a job in the Kansas City area.
