2 adults, 2 children injured in 3-vehicle crash

CLINTON COUNTY—Four people were injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Friday in Clinton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica driven by a 30-year-old Pattonsburg woman was southbound on Interstate 35 at the 50 mile marker. The driver failed to slow for construction and rear-ended a 2023 Kia Telluride driven by a 59-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man.  The impact pushed the Kia into a 2015 Toyota Highlander driven by a 76-year-old Lamomi, Iowa man.

Tri-county ambulance transported the driver of the Chrysler to Cameron Regional Medical Center and a 3-year-old male passenger and 6-year-old female passenger from the Chrysler to Children’s Mercy.  Cameron ambulance transported the driver of the KIA to North Kansas City hospital. There were no other injuries. All were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
