CALDWELL COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2p.m. Wednesday in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Freightliner semi driven by a 73-year-old King City man was southbound on Sale Barn Road two miles east of Cameron.
The driver yielded for a vehicle that stopped in from of the semi at Barwick Drive. The semi then continued into the intersection and struck the passenger side of a westbound 2006 Kia driven by a 24-year-old Cameron woman.
Caldwell County Ambulance transported the Kia driver to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The semi driver was not injured. The MSHP had incomplete seat belt usage information. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
