BUCHANAN COUNTY —Three people were injured in an accident just after 11p.m. Thursday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported 2006 Chrysler Town & Country driven by a 51-year-old St. Joseph woman and a 2015 Kawasaki UTV driven by a 54-year-old St. Joseph man were northbound on Pigeon Hill Road approaching 40th Road SE five miles south of St. Joseph.
The van rear-ended the UTV. After impact the UTV traveled off the east side of the road, returned to the road and overturned.
Buchanan County EMS transported the UTV driver, a 42-year-old woman, a 7-year-old girl, both passengers on the UTV to Mosaic Life Care. A third passenger on the UTV was checked at the scene by Andrew County EMS and releases. The van driver was not injured. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
