CALDWELL COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Friday in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Can-Am ATV driven by an 18-year-old Independence woman was southbound down a hill in a field on NE Pleasant RIdge Road one mile south of New York Township.
The driver lost control of the vehicle. The driver and two passengers were ejected. A private vehicle transported the teen driver a 14-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl, both from Sugar Creek, to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The MSHP no longer releases names of accident victims.
