DEKALB COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just after 4:30p.m. Monday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 62-year-old Stanberry man was westbound on Liberty Road four miles southeast of King City.
The driver failed to yield at Ogle Road. The Jeep and a southbound 2024 Ram 2500 driven by a 35-year-old Phoenix, Arizona man entered the intersection at approximately the same time. The vehicles collided.
After impact the pickup skidded off the southwest corner of the intersection and sstruck a utility pole.
EMS transported the driver of the pickup and his 35-year-old male passenger to Mosaic Life Care. The Jeep driver refused treatment of a minor injury. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
