BUCHANAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Tuesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a KTM SX65 motocross bike driven by a 13-year-old Dearborn boy was southbound on SE 32nd Road north of Seymour SE, two and one half miles south of St. Joseph.
A 2021 Toyota Rav4 driven by an 18-year-old St. Joseph man was eastbound on County Road Seymour. The Toyota made a left turn and began to slide on County Road SE 32nd Road. The motocross bike struck the front of the Toyota. After impact the motocross driver was ejected.
EMS transported the boy to Mosaic. He was later transported to Children’s Mercy for treatment of serious injuries.
