A 35-year-old St. Joseph woman has been killed when run over by a semi tractor-trailer on I-29 in Buchanan County in the early morning hours of Sunday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the woman was laying in the southbound lane of I-29 when the semi, driven by a 50-year-old Papillion, Nebraska man, ran over her shortly before three o’clock Sunday morning.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of accident victims.
