Missouri man injured after UTV overturns

DAVIESS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 5a.m. Sunday in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway  Patrol reported a 2021 Polaris RZR driven by a 22-year-old Jamesport man was westbound on Topper Avenue at 320th Street one mile west of Lock Springs. The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The driver overcorrected. The vehicle overturned and he was ejected.

A private vehicle transported the driver to Hedrick Medical Center. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
