An individual was taken into custody as part of an ongoing investigation into a recent St. Joseph shooting after a search warrant was executed.
The St. Joseph Police Department reports that at around 9am on Friday, the St. Joseph Police Department’s Street Crimes Detective Unit, along with the Special Response Team, Buchanan County Drug Strike Force, and Missouri Highway Patrol executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of South 21st Street.
In the home, officers found and seized three firearms, multiple narcotics, and served two arrest warrants. One individual was arrested as part of the ongoing investigation of a recent shooting.
