Missouri man hospitalized after SUV strikes a guardrail

GRUNDY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Monday in Grundy County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Chevy Traverse driven by a 20-year-old Philadelphia, Mo., man was southbound on U.S. 65 five miles south of Trenton. The driver swerved to miss a deer.  The SUV traveled off the west side of the road and struck a guardrail.

Grundy County EMS transported the driver to Wright Memorial Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
