PLATTE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 6:30a.m. Tuesday in Plaatte County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Freightliner semi driven by a 62-year-old Topeka man was northbound on Interstate 29 near the eastbound 435 interchange. The semi traveled off the road and overturned.
Platte County EMS transported the driver to North Kansas City Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
