Sheriff: Man deported after Kansas traffic stop arrest

BROWN COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after a traffic stop.

Just after 10p.m. October 13, a Brown County deputy on routine patrol initiated a traffic stop on U.S. 75 highway near 160th in rural Brown County, according to Sheriff John Merchant.

The deputy made contact with the driver identified as 39-year-old Diego Juarez of Lincoln, Nebraska.  The deputy discovered that he did not possess a  valid drivers license.  Juarez was arrested on a charge of Driving While Cancelled, Restricted or Revoked. While in the Brown County jail it was learned that Department of HomelandSecurity had a detainer on Juarez and he was  released to DHS the next morning.
