A 33-year old Savannah, MO man has pleaded guilty to charges of child sex trafficking involving two minors.
Ross Rutherford entered a plea to two counts of second-degree child sex trafficking on Dec. 12 in Andrew County Circuit Court.
According to court documents, Rutherford admitted that a victim under age 18 sent him suggestive pictures in May 2024. Rutherford stated in his plea that he sent the victim money on several occasions.
In a separate court filing, Rutherford admitted to asking a second victim, also a minor, to send nude pictures of herself in January 2025.
Rutherford could face 10 years to life in prison.
A judge denied bond for Rutherford, who is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 26, 2026.
