If you know someone who is deserving of having their name enshrined forever into the the history of St. Joseph sports, now is the time to nominate them for the St. Joseph Missouri Area Sports Hall of Fame. 

Nominations are now open for the 2026 class of the Hall of Fame.  Nominees can range from athletes to coaches, to teams and athletic administrators, and all the way to the media and more To be eligible, nominees need to meet just one of three criteria

  1. Have been born in Buchanan County
  2. Made their sports career or accomplished feats in Buchanan County
  3. Contributing to sports currently in Buchanan County

Nominations close in March for the class of 2026. The class of 2026 will be announced this summer, with the induction ceremony for the class held in August.  If a nominee is not selected for the current year’s class, their nomination stays active for five years.
