Civil rights activist Jesse Jackson passed away at home surrounded by family. Throughout his life, Jackson advocated for the poor and underrepresented, fighting for voting rights, job opportunities, education, and health care. He led diplomatic efforts with world leaders and used his Rainbow/PUSH Coalition to promote Black pride and self-determination. Despite health challenges, Jackson continued to protest against racial injustice and inspire hope, leaving a legacy of activism and service that his family encourages others to carry on.
