Community leaders gathered Tuesday morning to update the long-term vision for St. Joseph’s future. The Chamber of Commerce and United Way hosted futurist Rebecca Ryan to refresh the “Imagine St. Joseph 2040” plan. Ryan highlighted trends like downtown revitalization and “churn”—the movement of people in and out of the city. A new focus on the community’s “digital backbone” was also proposed, as planners weigh popular current needs against the values of the next generation.
