The Doniphan County Sheriff’s Department in Kansas released its Public Safety Progress Report for 2025, showing a significant increase in proactive policing, investigative activity, public safety enforcement, and offender accountability. The data revealed a 36% increase in incident activity compared to 2024, with almost double the number of arrests, over two thousand more building and town checks, and nearly four thousand more total incidents. The department expressed satisfaction with the data, highlighting substantial improvements in proactive patrol activity, criminal investigations, search warrants, arrests, and court-process service.
