The Savannah trap shooting team is gearing up for district competitions on March 28, with dedicated student-athletes practicing regardless of weather conditions. Coaches Doug Johnson and Sean Farrell lead a group of students who embrace the mental and physical challenges of the sport. Many team members, like Natalie and Carter Farrell, have family ties to trap shooting and have seen significant improvement since starting as freshmen. While the sport may not be as well-known as others, team members appreciate the recognition they’ve received and continue to hone their skills for future competitions.
