A Missouri man was arrested in Effingham after deputies found him in a stolen pickup truck. Brandon Chase Knight of Plattsburg, Missouri, was taken into custody for possession of stolen property. In a separate incident, Kevin Berning of Atchison was arrested on various charges, including domestic battery and possession of methamphetamine. Both individuals were booked into the Atchison County Jail.
