Kansas City International Airport is up and running again after a bomb threat

Kansas City International Airport is up and running again after a bomb threat shut down the airport on Sunday. Authorities evacuated passengers and employees from KCI for about two hours Sunday after the threat targeted the terminal and a parking garage. Inbound flights were held on taxiways, and passengers inside the terminal were ordered to evacuate without explanation, while others stayed on planes during the disruption. After a thorough sweep, officials determined the threat was not credible. FBI Director Kash Patel said the area was cleared, normal operations resumed and warned that making such threats is a federal crime.
