County Leaders Approve Pay Increase, Discuss Fuel Tank Replacement Plans

The Board approved a 5% salary increase for the Emergency Management Director, with a 3.5% increase planned for 2027. The current salary will be $70,243. Commissioners also approved the Annual Noxious Weed Control Program evaluation and discussed plans to replace underground fuel tanks at the County Yard. Dakota Schulenberg provided an update on Cooper Nuclear Station’s activities, including transitioning notifications to the IPAWS system and an upcoming outage in September. Richardson County received a premium dividend check of $16,304 from insurance carrier EMC for worker compensation insurance.
