Proposed location of power plant substation discussed by Falls City Council

A proposed site for an electrical substation in Falls City, Nebraska, has sparked controversy due to concerns about potential gravesites on the property. Local resident Scott Hollens raised objections during a Council meeting, citing the possibility of graves being missed during previous relocations. Through the practice of Dowsing, graves were reportedly discovered on the site by a resident, contradicting official records. Despite these findings, the city’s Executive Director maintains that no graves remain on the property and that the selected site was recommended by engineers for the substation project. The city is pursuing a grant to offset costs for the substation, which is part of a larger project to enhance electrical power in the community.
