Judith Ann Tifrea, 82, was born July 2, 1942 to William & Mae (Flanagan) Simpson in Flags Springs, Missouri. She passed away June 5, 2025. Judy was formerly from Peru, Illinois.

Judy was a 1960 graduate of Union Star High School and won the Betty Crocker award her senior year.

She retired from Furnace Electric and Consolidated Freightways.

Judy’s hobbies were reading, crocheting, puzzles, and cards.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Gail Lee Tifrea, sisters, Ethel Falk, Wilma Gordon, Loarine Bashor, Edith Simpson, Lela Hussey, and brother, William Simpson.

Judy is survived by William S. Tifrea (Amberlyn), grandchildren Randi Tifrea, AJ Tifrea (Alyssa), Lydia Hartnet, great grandchildren Alaina, Carter, Easton, and Levi Adams and Sadie Mae Tifrea, a host of family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to the King City Sr. Center. Judy Tifrea was a member of the Missouri Cremation Services.
