DAVIESS COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Saturday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Toyota Camry driven by a 41-year-old Gallatin woman was westbound on MO 6 one mile east of Altamont. The car traveled off the north side of the road, returned to the road and the driver overcorrected. The traveled off the south side of the road down an embankment. It struck a fence and a tree.
EMS transported the driver and a 39-year-old passenger from Iowa to Liberty Hospital. The passenger was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
