ANDREW COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 8p.m. Sunday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Honda Crosstour driven by a 51-year-old Utica, Nebraska man was southbound on Business 71 one quarter mile south of Country Club.
The driver entered the median cross over to make a turn onto northbound Interstate 29. The driver failed to yield. A southbound 2010 Ford Focus driven by a 21-year-old Savannah, Missouri, woman struck the front passenger side door of the Honda. After impact, the Honda rolled off the road.
Andrew County EMS transported the driver of the Honda and a 49-year-old female passenger from Utica, Nebraska, to Mosaic Life Care. The Ford driver was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
