DAVIESS COUNTY —Two teens were injured in an accident just after 5:30p.m. Monday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Polaris RZR driven by a 15-year-old Hamilton boy was westbound on Waltz Avenue one half mile west of 110th Street four miles north of Hamilton.
The vehicle struck a hump in the road as it was approaching the bridge over Morrowbone Creek. The vehicle traveled off the south side of the bridge, became airborne, struck the concrete wing wall of the bridge, struck the ground and came to rest on its passenger side.
Daviess County EMS transported a 15-year-old passenger to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The driver refused treatment of a minor injury at the scene. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
