Driver from St. Joe injured in crash while attempting a u-turn

CLINTON COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Thursday in Clinton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Ford Edge driven by a 70-year-old St. Joseph man was southbound on MO 116 at 145th Road four miles south of Gower. As the driver attempted a u-turn, a westbound 2019 Kenworth 310 driven by a 36-year-old Jamesport man struck the Ford.

Tri-County EMS transported both drivers to Mosaic Life Care. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
