Mo. teen hospitalized after car strikes a deer

MERCER COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 6:30a.m. Thursday in Mercer County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Ford Focus driven by an 18-year-old Mercer woman was southbound on U.S. 65 three miles north of Princeton. The car struck a deer.

A priate vehicle transported the driver to Wayne County Hospital. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
