BROWN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Friday in Brown County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford Fusion driven by Weston Witt, 29, Falls City, Nebraska, was eastbound on 192nd Road. The driver failed to stop at the stop sign at U.S. 75. The Ford struck the trailer on a southbound 2026 Freightliner semi driven by Steven Bostick, 74, Lubbock, Texas. After impact the Ford came to rest in the ditch.
EMS transported Witt to Sabetha Hospital. The semi driver was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
