ATCHISON COUNTY, Kan.— One person was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Monday in Atchison County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Benelli 302S driven by Lucas Coady, 17, Atchison, was northbound on Sherman Road four miles south of Atchison. The motorcycle veered off the roadway at a curve, traveled into the ditch and rolled to its side.
EMS transported Coady to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
