The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Chevy Equinox driven by a 32-year-old Chula woman was southbound on U.S. 65 two miles south of Chillicothe. The SUV rear-ended a 2016 Jeep Renegade driven by a 28-year-old Chillicothe man who had slowed suddenly for an animal in the road.
Chillicothe EMS transported the Chevy driver to Hedrick Medical Center. The Jeep driver was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
