Delayed justice: Rep. Brian Seitz proposes to fast track competency evaluations for crime suspects (LISTEN)

Missouri has a line of nearly 500 court trials on hold for one reason: A traffic jam of crime suspects sitting in jail awaiting a mental health evaluation to determine if they are competent to go on trial.  Alisa Nelson talks to Branson State Representative Brian Seitz, who has pre-filed a bill to speed up the competency evaluations.
